[AM is one who has to have control at all times. Prison robs him of so much of that, though in a way his business did too. Of course they aren't even close to the same levels of stifling... But here in the bedroom with whatever partner he fancies, he can take hold of that illusion once more.
Prison disappears from his mind, and for now he is back in his home with a man he has seduced, a man who has essentially given him permission to do whatever he wants to him. (Even if that's not the case, that's how AM interprets it.)
